The RAI Secretariat has published the “Model Provisions for Whistleblower Protection Laws” which is aimed to support the adoption and implementation of recommendations generated by the “Gap Analysis of Whistleblower Protection Laws in the Western Balkans and Moldova” released by RAI Secretariat in September 2021.

Both, the Model Provisions and the Gap Analysis documents have been developed in the framework of the regional project ‘Breaking the Silence: Enhancing Whistleblowing Policies and Culture in the Western Balkans and Moldova’ funded by the EU implemented in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

The documents may be used by the public institutions responsible for the implementation of the laws on whistleblowers protection in the relevant countries, as well as the interested stakeholders such as civil society actors, media, etc.
